April Inspiration
Here in California, we don’t generally get a lot of April showers, and by the time May rolls around, those traditionally expected flowers bloomed and wilted at least a month ago. While the rest of the country may still be drudging through winter weather, for me April means overflowing flowerbeds, pink and white petals blowing off trees like confetti, buttery yellow sunshine, and super-saturated pastels that will effortlessly transition to the hotter hues and vibrant neons come June and July. I think the same every single year! I imagine April-May very sunny and beautiful months full of colorful trees + falling leaves of the cherry trees!
Well it’s not like that at all but I can imagine that right? haha
Beautiful blog! I stepped here 2 minutes ago and I’m instantly in love with it!
We definitely still get our fair share of cloudy days here too–somehow it always seems to turn to spring in mid February to mid March, and then stays wintery again until June or July, haha. Glad you like it, thanks for the wonderful compliment!
