Wood vs. Stone

I’ve always had a fondness for necklaces adorned with wooden pendants, but recently crystals and raw diamonds have also captured my attention. Son of a Sailor’s new Karve jewelry collection marries the beautiful tone and texture of a carved wooden necklace with the faceting and sparkle of natural stones. Each one-of-a-kind necklace is hand crafted and paired with a leather and brass chain. My personal favorites echo the unusually vivid hues also present in Stone and Honey‘s simple crystal points or in Cursive Design‘s playfully dip-dyed white crystals. Now I’m just left wondering whether my next jewelry purchase will be wood or stone.
